YUMICRON® is the generic
product name for the microporous thin membranes independently
developed by YUASA.
The microporous membranes have extremely small and uniform
pore sizes because the membranes are formed by synthetic
resin solutions that are dispersed in molecular levels.
The membranes have high mechanical strength, excellent
heat and chemical resistance.
Their ternary structures plus extra functions exhibit
their highest performance in, for example, removing
bacteria and microparticles from foods but leaving flavors
in them.
